The Arbitration Court has jurisdiction to hear and determine trade dispute matters or matters in the manner set out in Part 19 of the Employment Relations (Amendment) Act No. 4 of 2015. It is presided over by the Chair or Deputy Chairs, who are appointed by the President on the advice of the Prime Minister following consultation by the Prime Minister with the Chief Justice and currently the Chief Registrar of the High Court of Fiji is the Arbitration Court Chair.
