Section 202 of the Copyright Act establishes this tribunal. The Tribunal consists of a chairman and 2 other members.
The Chairman of the Tribunal must be appointed by the Judicial Service Commission and must be a legal practitioner of not less than 7 years’ standing.
The Judicial Service Commission must appoint the other 2 members of the Tribunal. It may appoint a Resident Magistrate to be the Tribunal and a reference in this Part to a member of the Tribunal includes a Resident Magistrate appointed as the Tribunal.
