Reporting Responsibilities;

Position Purpose
The role of the position is to provide security/ watchman services to the court premises.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct hourly patrols, monitor & record all incoming and outgoing vehicles and provide security to all government assets/ properties within the court premises;
2. Ensure safe custody of government assets and equipment’s;
3. Assist and prepare reports, accompany those who are wishing to enter the compound after hours;
4. Assist in physical checks on any incoming and outgoing loading and unloading items with proper documentations.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The Person
A pass in Fiji Junior Examination [FJC] or equivalent with the following Knowledge,Experience, Skills and Abilities are required to successfully undertake this role:
Knowledge and Experience
1. Good knowledge and understanding of GWEs terms and conditions;
2. Basic knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation;
3. Having previous work experience in the same field will be an advantage.
Skills and Abilities
1. Good communication and interpersonal skills;
2. Basic self-defence skills is an advantage and be physically and mentally fit;
3. Demonstrated ability to effectively perform task allocated with minimum supervision;
4. Ability to manage time effectively and to work as a team
Personal Character and Eligibility
Applicants for employment in the Judicial Department must be Fijian Citizens, under Age 60, in sound health, with a clear police record. The selected applicant will be required to provide a medical report and police clearance prior to taking up duty.
